Culture of Fear

Gun owners were surveyed as to why they own these weapons. The responses varied from the predictable “it’s my constitutional right” to the hopeful “to play the role of a hero”, from it's my “masculine duty” to “deter crime.” Thirty-eight of these reasons, along with the word FEAR in other languages is printed to cloth. Red paint, splattered and rolled on the cloth, represents the bloodshed caused by the culture of fear.
