I come from a long line of fiber folk. Whether it be sewing, knitting, spinning, weaving or quilting, seemingly a needle and thread have sewn the pages of my journey.
My current passion is mixed media fiber collage, which basically means I love to dye, paint, stitch, and embellish cloth. All of the imagery in my work is original, inspired by photographs, marks, stories, etc.
As a visual learner, life has been my greatest teacher. While I appear to be daydreaming, my eye is trained on detail and pattern, color and texture.
I maintain a home studio in the wine country region of Northern California.
